Biography

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Emily Harvison and her husband moved to Middle Tennessee in 2003. She began her nursing career as an RN in the Pediatric ICU, where she gained valuable experience in early Pediatric care. Emily has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2005 and has been with Grace Pediatrics in Pleasant View since it opened in 2012. She is actively involved with the Clinical Care Coordination Team at Grace Pediatrics, serving as a lead clinical coordinator in efforts related to the Patient-Centered Medical Home. Emily values creating trusting relationships with her patients and their families, ensuring a strong family-centered approach to patient care.

Areas of Notable Expertise and Interest

Emily has had the opportunity to care for a variety of acute and chronic pediatric illnesses, providing her with a broad knowledge base. She believes it is important to empower her patients and their families by educating them on health prevention practices, as well as treatment plans for acute illnesses.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of working in Pediatrics, Emily enjoys fishing, spending time with family and supporting her children in their extracurricular activities.
